The main substances are:

I. Calcium-D-Pantothenate

This precursor of vitamin B5 increases the skin's ability to retain moisture. It has nurturing properties and improves the skin's elasticity. It also supports the regeneration of skin cells. Furthermore, vitamin B5 can help to ease itch and repress inflammation.

II. Propylene glycol

This serves as a biological carrier, which facilitates a steady, constant and effective absorption of hyaluron into the skin. The fluid is crystal-clear, colorless and odorless. And the best thing is, due to its antimicrobial effect, no other preservatives have to be used in KLOTZ LABS cosmetics.

III. Urea

An organic compound which occurs naturally in our bodies and which cosmetically slows down the formation of calluses and acts as an effective moisturizer due to its hygroscopic (water-absorbing) effect.

V. Potassium hyaluronate

There is hardly any other molecule that incorporates such a broad range of exceptional characteristics and can be used in so many ways in modern medicine. Especially in the field of aesthetic medicine, results of recent research lead to groundbreaking successes in reducing and preventing aging of the skin. Hyaluron occurs in the entire body; more than half of it is contained in the skin. Due to its unique chemical structure, the molecule is able to bind great amounts of water: up to more than thousand times its own mass. This enormous storage capacity of hyaluron enables it to act like a water cushion between the cell gaps of the skin, which increases the firmness of the tissue, significantly reduces wrinkle depth and perfectly moisturizes even the deeper layers of the skin. At the same time, the water cushion creates a protective barrier, which shields the cells from the damaging effect of environmental toxins, free radicals and radiation and facilitates the transport of substances between the cells. As hyaluron acts as a kind of accelerator for the transport of other substances, the cells are more effectively provided with important nutrients and the removal of waste products and toxins is improved. In this way, hyaluron also improves anti-inflammatory properties and immunological defense mechanisms of the skin and accelerates its healing process.
